移民(至 Spain)

⚠ This occupation is not on the direct Blue Card / highly-qualified track, so direct skilled migration is unavailable; however migration is possible via an employer-sponsored Cuenta ajena permit or the shortage-occupation route — usually requiring qualification recognition (homologación), with limited pathways and places. Refer to the latest Spanish authorities.

簽證詳情
Cuenta ajena Employed Work PermitSpanish judicial authorities must act as employer sponsors, but non-EU applicants find it extremely difficult to pass the Oposición. EU citizens can move freely but require language and exam preparation.
Homologación Degree RecognitionNon-EU law degrees require certification by the Spanish Ministry of Education (Homologación), and after certification, one must still participate in the Oposición, a complex and lengthy process.

適合對象

✓ 適合
  • Law graduates who aspire to a judicial career and can withstand extremely high competition pressure
  • Proficient in Spanish and legal terminology, willing to spend several years preparing for the Oposición
  • Those who pursue career stability and social prestige and are not afraid of the high-intensity work pace
✗ 不適合
  • Those unwilling or unable to pass long-term, high-intensity exams
  • Those seeking quick immigration or working in Spain through skilled technical sponsorship

職業前景

The promotion path usually progresses from Juez de Primera Instancia to Judge of the Superior Court (Magistrado de Audiencia Provincial) or Supreme Court (Tribunal Supremo). They may transfer to judicial administrative positions or enter the procuratorial system through examinations.

The Spanish judicial system continues to need judges to cope with case backlogs, but positions are limited by the national budget and public sector recruitment. Digitalization and specialization (such as business and family law) create new opportunities, but competition is extremely fierce and the annual pass rate is very low.

常見問題

What is the average annual salary of a judge in Spain?
Junior judges earn an annual salary of about 45,000-65,000 euros, intermediate judges 65,000-95,000 euros, and senior judges up to 135,000 euros, excluding additional allowances.
Can non-EU citizens become Spanish judges?
In theory, yes, but you must first pass the academic qualification certification (Homologación), then take the Spanish-language judicial exam (Oposición), which is highly competitive and requires Spanish nationality or, under certain conditions, long-term EU residency. In fact, it is very difficult.
What educational qualifications and exams are required to become a judge?
A Bachelor of Laws degree recognized by Spain is usually required, passing the national judicial examination (Oposición), and completing 1-2 years of paid training at a judicial school. The entire process usually takes 7-10 years.
